Use these instructions to configure Windows Live Mail to use with your Actrix email address.

Actrix Email: Windows Live Mail Setup

1.Select Accounts and then E-mail.
2.Enter the following details into the new account screen then click Next:
  • E-mail address: Your Actrix E-mail address
  • Password: Your Actrix E-mail password
  • Display Name: The name you would like to appear on outgoing E-mails
3.Select "POP3" as the Incoming E-mail Server Type, enter the following details and press Next:
  •  Incoming Server: pop.actrix.co.nz
  •  Port: 110
  •  Login ID: Your username (without the @actrix.co.nz)
  •  Outgoing Server: smtp.actrix.co.nz
  •  Port: 25
4.Click Finish to complete the setup for Windows Live Mail.

 

Additional information

Microsoft’s Outlook Team announced that the Windows Live Mail application will reach it’s End of Life (EOL) on June 30th, 2016. As a result, if you have any persistent issues using Windows Live Mail, it's recommended that you upgrade to Mail and Calendar, which is included with Windows 10.
