These settings can be used to get a connection to Voyager using a third party Huawei HG659 / HG659b.

Blinking

The Device has an IP connection and is sending/receiving traffic

The Device has a WAN/Public IP address. PPP negotiation was successfully completed (if applicable) and the DSL or UFB/Fibre connection is up.

OffThere is no Internet connection or the gateway is in bridged mode.

 


WLAN 

 

 

Steady OnThe wireless network is activated.
Fast BlinkingThe Device is communicating with wireless clients. 
Slow BlinkingThe Device is attempting to connect to a wireless client over the WLAN using the WPS function. This process lasts for no longer than 120 seconds.
OffThe wireless network is not activated.

VoIP

OnA SIP account is registered for the phone port, but no traffic is currently flowing.
BlinkingA SIP account is registered for the phone port and is sending/receiving traffic
OffThe phone port does not have a sip account registered.

LAN

Steady OnThe Device has a successful Ethernet connection with a device on the Local Area Network (LAN).
BlinkingThe Device is sending or receiving data to/from the LAN.
OffThe Device does not have an Ethernet connection with the LAN.

USB

On
  • The Device is activated through USB modem.
  • A portable storage device is connected to the USB port.
Blinking
  • The Device is being activated through USB modem.
  • Data is being transmitted on the USB port.
Off
  • The USB port is not connected.
  • The Device is powered off.

 

Access Web Interface: Spark

  1. Open your Web browser (Edge, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
  2. Access the device's web interface via entering '192.168.1.254' into the address/URL bar.
  3. Login to the web interface:
    • Username: admin
    • Password admin

Access Web Interface: Vodafone

  1. Open your Web browser (Edge, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
  2. Access the device's web interface via entering '192.168.1.1' into the address/URL bar.
  3. Login to the web interface:
    • Username: admin
    • Password [Password is '@' followed by last 8 numbers of serial number - e.g. @48695749]

Configure for VDSL

  1. From the top menu, click Internet → then Internet Settings on the left.
  2. Destroy any pre-existing profiles (e.g. Sparks 'INTERNET_TR069_ETH_VID_10').
  3. Click Add → Advanced Settings → input the following:

    • Internet Account: [user]@dsl.vygr.net (NOTE: [user] is your unique user name and can be found in the Build Doc)
    • Internet Password: (Your Account password can be found in the Build Doc)
    • PPP Service Name: [leave blank]
    • IP Protocol Version: IPv4 + IPv6
    • Static DNS: 
      • Primary: 114.23.1.1
      • Secondary: 114.23.2.2
    • IPv6 Addressing Type: SLAAC
  4. Click Save.

 

UFB/Fibre Settings

Configure for UFB/Fibre

  1. From the top menu, click Internet → then Internet Settings on the left.
