We supply rented equipment to you on the basis that it remains our property and must be returned to us in good condition when your services with us end.
If you do not return rented equipment to us in good condition within 30 days of the termination of your services, you agree that we may charge you an amount equal to the reasonable replacement cost or purchase price of the equipment.
The applicable purchase price or replacement cost is generally advised to you when you sign up with us. We can confirm the purchase price of the specific equipment you are renting at any time upon request. Replacement costs may change from time to time due to variations in supplier pricing, availability, or product lifecycle.
We may charge one‑off courier fees for the delivery and return of rented equipment. We may also charge additional configuration or support fees where these are provided for under your service agreement with us.
We will replace any rented equipment that is faulty at no cost to you, except for any applicable courier charges. We will provide basic support for rented equipment; however, unless expressly stated in your service agreement, this does not include a managed service such as “Router Management” or similar ongoing monitoring or administration services.
For the purposes of this agreement, “good condition” means that the equipment is in a condition that would reasonably allow it to be reused by another customer for the same purpose. Reasonable cosmetic wear and tear (including minor scuffs or scratches) is acceptable. You are not required to return the original packaging; however, we recommend retaining it for the duration of the rental period to assist with safe return of the equipment.
All cables, adapters, power supplies, and other accessories supplied with the rented equipment must be returned at the same time as the equipment. If any of these components are not returned, we may charge a reasonable replacement cost for the missing items.
Minimum Term Contracts
If rented equipment is supplied as part of a contract with a minimum term, the rental component will continue on the same terms and pricing after the minimum term ends, unless otherwise agreed. You may continue renting the equipment until you terminate the associated services, either by transferring them to another provider or requesting disconnection. At that point, the equipment must be returned to us.
If you terminate your services during a minimum contract term, you must return the rented equipment. If the equipment is not returned, you may be charged:
- a reasonable amount equal to the purchase price or replacement cost of the equipment; and
- any applicable Early Termination Charges specified in your service agreement.
In all cases, rented equipment must be returned within 30 days of termination of the relevant services, unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing with us within that period. Failure to do so may result in the charges described above being applied.
Equipment Replacement
In some circumstances, we may request that equipment be returned to us for replacement. Where possible, we will provide an equivalent replacement device.
