Having trouble?
The router's lights can help you with diagnosing problems:
1. Power - Is the router powered on?
- Steady green light indicates the router is powered on.
- If this light is off, ensure the power button is pressed on and check the power supply.
- If you still have no luck, try testing another wall power socket.
2. DSL - Is the router connecting to ADSL or VDSL? - only check this light if you have signed up for ADSL or VDSL
- Steady green light indicates your Voyager ADSL or VDSL connection is activated.
- Blinking indicates it's attempting to activate.
- If this light is not solid after about 10 minutes, ensure the cables are connected correctly to the right ports.
- Test some spare cables if possible.
- Try testing another wall jack point if you have some.
3. Internet - Is the router logging into Voyager?
- Steady green light indicates the router has logged into the broadband service with your Voyager username and password.
- Fast blinking indicates data is being transmitted.
4. WAN - Is the router connecting to Fibre (UFB)? - only check this light if you have signed up for Fibre (UFB)
- Steady green light indicates your Voyager Fibre (UFB) connection is activated.
- Blinking indicates it's attempting to activate.
- If this light is not solid after about 10 minutes, ensure the cables are connected correctly to the right ports.
- Test some spare cables if possible.
5. WLAN - Is the WiFi (wireless) switched on?
- Steady green light indicates WiFi is activated. Fast blinking indicates data is being transmitted.
- If this light is off, then press the WLAN button on the side of the router to switch it back on.
6. VoIP - Is the phone service working?
- Steady green light indicates Voice (Phone) service is online. Blinking indicates the service is in use.
- If this light is off, then check the VoIP configuration on the router.
