Welcome to Voyager Connect Mobile Softphone - iOS

Use Voyager Connect Mobile on your iPhone to make and receive calls, manage your status, transfer calls, search contacts, check voicemail, and access softphone settings from anywhere.

iPhone setup and user guide

This guide walks you through downloading the Voyager Connect Mobile app, signing in, and using the key calling features on iOS. Follow the steps below to get set up and start using your mobile softphone confidently.

Download the app

Install Voyager Connect Mobile from the App Store, or open the App Store on your iPhone and search for Voyager Connect Mobile.

Once installed, tap the Voyager Connect Mobile icon on your phone to open the app.

Log in to the app

Step 1

When you open the app, you will be taken to the login page if you have not already signed in. Enter your email address and password to get started.

Step 2

Select the account you would like to log in to and tap Continue. In most cases this will be your business or account name.

Step 3

The region should show as Australia. If a different region appears, change it to Australia, then tap Log In.

Tip: Tap the > icon to expand each section. If you are using a mobile phone or tablet, view the article in landscape for a better experience.

Updating your status

Updating your status helps you manage calls effectively and lets others know whether you are available. Away statuses are useful for breaks, lunch, meetings, administration, and other non-call activities.

To update your status and availability, tap your icon in the top right of the screen.

From here you can update your status (1), add a personalised status message (2), and enable or disable call waiting (3).

Making a call

Using the dial pad

Tap the dial pad button at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the number you want to call, then tap CALL.

Using your contacts

Tap the Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen.

Select the contact you want to call, then tap CALL.

Answering a call

To make sure calls still come through when the app is not open on screen, check your iPhone notification settings:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Select the Voyager Connect app.
  4. Turn on Allow Notifications and choose how you want notifications to appear.
Transferring a call

While you are on a call, tap the Transfer icon.

You will then be able to choose either a blind transfer or a consult transfer (warm transfer).

Use the dial pad to enter the number you want to transfer the call to, then tap CALL. The call will transfer based on the option you selected.

You also have the option to return to the original call.

Searching for contacts

Search bar

Use the search bar at the top of the screen to find a contact. Enter the contact name, then tap search or enter.

Contacts list

Tap the Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen.

This shows contacts within a selected group, such as Support.

You can change groups by tapping the group name and selecting another group.

Checking your voicemail

Tap the voicemail icon at the bottom of the screen. This automatically dials into your voicemail box.

Tap the menu icon.

Then tap Settings.

On this page you will see the softphone information and details for the app.

Having trouble?

Unable to log in?

Check that your email address is entered correctly.

If you are unsure of your password, tap I've forgotten my password on the login page. A password reset email will be sent to your email address.

Callers can't hear you?

Make sure Voyager Connect has permission to access your microphone:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Tap Microphone.
  4. Find Voyager Connect in the list and turn microphone access on.

Softphone not ringing?

1. Check your iPhone notification settings and confirm that notifications are enabled for the Connect app.

You can find this under Settings > Notifications. Tap the Connect app and turn on Allow Notifications.

2. Check that your Connect softphone status is set to Available.
