The below instructions will help you set up your email on the email client, Outlook.
NOTE: The user interface displayed in the images below may differ slightly from version to version you have installed.
Open Outlook.
Click File, then Add Account to begin. See below.
Next, enter your email address and select Advanced options, and tick the checkbox for "Let me set up my account manually" then click Connect. See below. Outlook will now search for details about your email.
In this screen, choose POP or IMAP, we recommend IMAP if you are wanting to connect multiple devices to the one account. In the example we have selected IMAP.
This window is where you enter your email information, see below. Since we are connecting via IMAP the port numbers are as displayed in the image. To see other options, you can via more settings here.
- Enter mp.mail.isx.net.nz in the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) server: field.
- Enter mp.mail.isx.net.nz in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field.
Click on Next... see above for the location of this button.
Enter your password in the below field. The connect button will become active when password entered. Click Connect
Outlook will now try to connect to our servers with the information provided. This may take a short while before completing.
Once connected you should see the success message. Congratulations! You have finished the setup of your email account. Click Done to close the setup wizard.
