Overview

By default, a server can be provisioned with IPv4, IPv6, or both address types. If both are selected at creation, the server will be built with both IPs assigned.
Customers can also add additional IP addresses after the server has been created. Each additional IP address costs $2 per month.

Prerequisites

1. Access to the VPS Manager.

2. An existing project and server to which you want to assign additional IP addresses.

Procedure

1. Log in to VPS Manager.

2. Select the project that contains the server you want to modify.

a. From the list of servers, click the server's name.

3. On the Overview page, select the Network tab from the top menu.

4. Click + Add IP.

5. In the popup:

a. Choose whether to add an IPv4 or IPv6 address.

b. Review the displayed pricing information.

c. Example: Select IPv4.

6. Click Create & Buy Now.

The new IP address will be automatically assigned to your VPS and displayed in the Primary IPs table.

Notes

The two IP addresses with a greyed-out delete icon cannot be removed because the server requires at least one active IP address.
