It is strongly recommended to enable the backup option for your servers. By default, the system performs a full backup each night. The backup schedule can be modified to run daily, weekly or monthly, depending on your requirements. A maximum of seven backups are retained at any given time, regardless of whether they are scheduled or created manually.
Enabling Backups
1. Log in to the cloud server, then the project and click on the server you wish to configure.
2. Navigate to the Backups tab.
3. The interface will indicate that backups are disabled. Move the toggle switch to the right.
4. When prompted, select Enable.
5. The toggle will display in blue, confirming that backups have been activated.
Configuring the Backup Schedule
1. Select Schedule Settings.
2. In the schedule settings window, configure the backup frequency and timing.
a. To adjust the time, select the Time option and choose from the available drop-down values.
b. Because backups may impose additional load on the server, it is advisable to schedule them during periods of low activity.
3. Save the changes. The updated schedule will be displayed, with the active frequency (e.g., Daily) shown on a grey background.
